You set up OrderRules so your store sells on *your* terms — the right hours, the right caps, the right limits per customer and product. But checking what's currently set often meant clicking through to the right page first.

Not anymore.

**OrderRules now works with Shopify Sidekick**, Shopify's built-in AI assistant. Ask a question in plain language, and Sidekick answers instantly from your live OrderRules configuration — right where you're already working.

## Just ask things like

- "What are my current order limits?"
- "How many orders can I still take today?"
- "When is my store open this week?"
- "What are my per-customer purchase limits?"
- "Do any products have a minimum order or case-pack rule?"
- "What rules apply to this product?"

## What you get back

Sidekick pulls your live setup and answers on the spot:

- **Order capacity** — daily, weekly, and monthly caps, with how many you've used and how many remain.
- **Schedule** — your weekly hours, timezone, and upcoming holiday closures.
- **Customer rules** — per-customer purchase limits by orders, quantity, or spend.
- **Product rules** — per-product and per-variant limits, minimum order quantity, and step (multiples-of) quantities, plus collection and tag limits.

No clicks. No guesswork. Just the answer.

## Private and read-only

Sidekick asks your permission before reading OrderRules data, and it only ever sees **your own store's** configuration. It's **read-only** — Sidekick reports your rules, it never changes them. (Setting and editing rules straight from Sidekick is on our roadmap — stay tuned.)

## How to try it

If you already have OrderRules installed, it's live now: open Sidekick in your Shopify admin and ask. New to OrderRules? Install it from the Shopify App Store and start with a 14-day Pro trial.
