Shopify Plus stores can now show the delivery-date selector on the checkout page — using the same rules, capacity and pickup you already set up.

- ✨ **New (Plus):** Customers can pick or confirm their **delivery date** — plus **time slot** and **in-store pickup** — directly on the **checkout page**, in addition to your product and cart pages. It uses the same availability rules, capacity, blackout dates and cutoffs; fully-booked dates grey out automatically; and a required date is enforced at checkout.
- 🚀 **Improved:** Time-slot pickers now open on a clear **"Choose a time slot"** prompt instead of pre-selecting the first option, so a slot is set only when the customer actually chooses one.
- 🚀 **Improved:** Every order now shows the chosen delivery **time slot in plain language** (for example "Morning") in the admin, right next to the date.
- 🚀 **Improved:** The OrderRules admin **loads faster**.
- 🐛 **Fixed:** When you collect the delivery date at checkout, the storefront **Checkout button stays enabled** — shoppers go straight to checkout to choose their date.
- 🐛 **Fixed:** Per-product **quantity limits can no longer be bypassed** by splitting the same item across different delivery times in a single cart.

Two things worth knowing. The checkout selector is **Shopify Plus only**, because it is built as a checkout UI extension — on other plans the switch does not appear, and delivery dates continue to work on your product and cart pages. And turning the switch on is not enough on its own: you also add the **Delivery date** block in Shopify's checkout editor.

It does not replace the pickers you already have. A date chosen earlier carries forward to checkout for confirmation.
