**Buy it now, Shop Pay, checkout links and AI shopping agents now respect your delivery dates. When a date can't be chosen before checkout, your customer can choose it right after.** (Advanced plan)

- ✨ **New:** The delivery date picked on the product page now goes with **Buy it now** orders. [How express buttons work →](/docs/delivery/express-checkout-and-wallets)
- ✨ **New:** On products that require a date, **Buy it now, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay wait until a date is chosen**, on the product page and in the cart, with a short message telling the shopper what to do. Messages are editable in Settings → Storefront text.
- ✨ **New:** **Wallet hold** (optional, off by default) keeps wallet buttons on the product page waiting even after a date is chosen, sending those shoppers to the cart.
- ✨ **New:** **Orders without a delivery date**: choose whether checkout blocks orders from checkout links, chats and AI shopping agents that arrive without a required date, or accepts them and tags them `os-date-pending`. - ✨ **New:** **Delivery date after the order**: a block on your thank-you and order status pages shows the delivery date, or lets the customer choose one if the order doesn't have it. [Set it up →](/docs/delivery/delivery-date-after-order)
- ✨ **New:** Optionally let **customers change their delivery date** after ordering, until that date's cutoff. Capacity moves with the change, and the change is noted on the order so your team sees the current date.
- ✨ **New:** The delivery date block shows a **preview and a connection check** in Shopify's checkout editor, so you can see where it sits and that it's working before customers do.

- 🚀 **Improved:** The checkout delivery-date picker (Shopify Plus) now uses checkout protection to require the date, following Shopify's latest checkout changes.
- 🚀 **Improved:** Clearer checkout message when a date is missing: "Please choose a delivery date. Go back to your cart to pick one."
- 🚀 **Improved:** OrderRules now runs on Shopify's latest API version (2026-10). Nothing to do on your side.
- 🐛 **Fixed:** When OrderRules is switched off, no delivery button is held back and no delivery rule blocks checkout.
- 🐛 **Fixed:** Two customers changing their date at the same moment can no longer both take the last place on a day.
