**Blackout dates remove specific days from the delivery picker so customers can't book them.**

- **Manual blackouts.** Add any date you can't deliver, with an optional reason for your own records.
- **Copy store holidays.** One click imports your Shopify store-closed dates as delivery blackouts — no re-typing the calendar you already maintain.
- **Per-location blackouts.** Each in-store pickup location can carry its own blackout dates, independent of delivery.

Blackouts also feed the [estimated delivery date](/docs/delivery/estimated-delivery-date) engine, which skips them (along with weekends and national holidays) when it counts business days.
