**Scoping decides _which_ products and markets a rule applies to, so different items can behave differently.**

- **By product, collection, or tag.** Give frozen goods a longer lead time, or restrict a fragile line to certain weekdays.
- **By country.** Target a market — for example, offer date selection to Japan only.
- **By fulfillment method.** Make any rule **delivery-only, pickup-only, or both**.

When more than one rule could match, the **most specific wins**: product > collection > tag > storewide. So a product-level rule overrides a collection rule, which overrides a storewide default.
