Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 17, 2026

Info

OrderRules is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA published by the W3C.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.

We last reviewed the site against WCAG 2.2 AA on May 17, 2026 using automated tooling (axe-core 4.11.x) and manual keyboard and screen reader evaluation.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks on every page
  • Keyboard accessibility for navigation, forms, dropdowns, and modal dialogs
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 text, 3:1 UI components)
  • Skip link to main content on every page
  • prefers-reduced-motion respected sitewide
  • Touch targets of at least 24Γ—24 CSS pixels
  • Language attribute on every page reflecting the active locale
  • Alt text on all content images, enforced by an automated check at build time
  • Forms with associated labels, autocomplete attributes, and live-region error announcements

Compatible with

This website is designed to work with:

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
  • Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200% and viewport reflow at 320 CSS pixels

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to resolve them:

  • The Tawk.to live chat widget is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not control. If you have difficulty using it, please email us instead.
  • A small number of inline brand terms in non-English pages (e.g., "OrderRules", "Shopify") may not be wrapped in language attributes, which can affect screen reader pronunciation.
  • Older blog screenshots may have minimal alt text; we are auditing and improving these progressively.
