Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OrderRules, a Shopify application provided by eFoli. By installing or using OrderRules, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing OrderRules from the Shopify App Store, you ("Merchant" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the app.

2. Description of Service

OrderRules is a Shopify application that enables merchants to:

  • Set and enforce order capacity limits (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Configure automated store hours that control checkout availability
  • Apply per-product, per-collection, and per-tag order limits
  • Restrict orders on a per-customer basis
  • View analytics and receive email notifications about capacity usage

3. Account & Eligibility

To use OrderRules, you must:

  • Have an active Shopify store in good standing
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have authority to bind your business to these Terms
  • Comply with Shopify's Terms of Service

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Free Plan (Starter): Available at no cost with limited features as described on our pricing page.

Pro Plan: Charged at $9.99 USD per month (or $95.90 USD per year), billed through Shopify's billing system. A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify Admin; no refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use OrderRules to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the app
  • Circumvent or disable any security features
  • Resell, sublicense, or distribute the app without permission

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of OrderRules is subject to our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your store data. We process your data solely to provide the OrderRules service.

7. Intellectual Property

OrderRules, including its code, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by eFoli. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use OrderRules during your subscription period.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OrderRules is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that OrderRules will prevent every oversold order. You remain responsible for monitoring your orders.

9. Limitation of Liability

eFoli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eFoli from any claims arising from your use of OrderRules or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your use of OrderRules at any time by uninstalling the app. We will delete your store data within 30 days of uninstallation.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which eFoli is registered.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time with notice via email or the app.
